Xerox Ventures Announces Investment in Cybersecurity Infrastructure Company LimaCharlie

24 May 2022

NORWALK, Conn., May 24, 2022 Xerox Ventures, the corporate venture capital subsidiary of Xerox Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: XRX), announced today its investment in cybersecurity infrastructure startup LimaCharlie’s $5.45 million dollar seed financing round led by Susa Ventures with participation from Sands Capital, Lytical Ventures, CoFound Partners and others. This brings the company’s total funding to $6.35 million, with a current valuation of $24 million.

Through its investment in LimaCharlie, Xerox Ventures continues to deliver on its overall investment strategy, focused in part on startups that are increasing the use of intelligent applications and managed services to create more empowered businesses. LimaCharlie’s API-first cybersecurity tools and infrastructure provide companies with a strong, adaptable security posture through its Security Infrastructure as a Service (SIaaS) model, a concept which the company pioneered. With this latest funding, the company will expand its engineering team with the goal of increasing new technology development.

“LimaCharlie created a cybersecurity ecosystem that can help any security team no matter their size or budget,” said Chris Fisher, managing director, Xerox Ventures. “Our team was impressed by the scalable nature of LimaCharlie’s software and its ability to integrate with existing security pipelines. The company is clearly dedicated to providing a quality service to all customers, with the flexibility and scalability to meet each organization’s unique and evolving needs now and into the future.”

“Securing Xerox Ventures as one of our investors shows how confident the industry is in our product,” said LimaCharlie CEO and founder Maxime Lamothe-Brassard. “It means a great deal that Xerox Ventures sees the value in our solutions as part of the future of business, and we appreciate the team’s support and partnership as we continue to build and expand our offerings.”

This investment from Xerox Ventures comes on the heels of the fund’s backing of Seurat Technologies and LinkSquares earlier this year. Learn more about Xerox Ventures and its $250M venture capital fund here.
